AMD Claims Some Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs Can Deliver Up to 1000fps in Several Esports Titles

AMD claimed that 1000fps is achievable in popular esports games such as Counter-Strike 2, Valorant and PUBG by using Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs paired with a top-tier GPU

The branded picture with the claim was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by a user under the nickname realVictor_M, who stated that the slide was presented by AMD at an event in China.

According to the leaked slide, AMD states that three CPUs from the Ryzen 9000X3D series can reach the 1000fps mark in Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, and PUBG, including Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Ryzen 9 9950X3D, and the mobile Ryzen 9 9955HX3D.

As the slide says, reaching such numbers became possible due to the company’s 3D V-Cache technology.

As of the time of writing, other parts of the setup that allowed achieving such numbers remain unclear. Gaming.News reached out to AMD to clarify the exact build that allowed hitting 1000 FPS.
